Meet our friendly team!

Matt Bateman
Chiropractor
I am a Chiropractor specialising in treating back pain, neck pain and sports injuries.
When playing rugby I was treated by a Chiropractor as part of our support team. His combination of skills and results helping me was the reason why I began my journey into Chiropractic. I try to use a variety of techniques and approaches to help my patients to stay pain free, active and able to prevent future problems.
I am a Sports Chiropractor with years of experience treating pitch-side and also a qualified Personal Trainer. I use a combination of chiropractic approaches, my techniques include Chiropractic manipulation, Dynamic Massage, Dry Needling Acupuncture, Cupping, Rock Tapping and Focused Rehab.
When I’m not at work I’m either running around with my family or running around training for various marathons or upcoming events. I understand the importance of hobbies and so I love to keep my patients doing what they love.

Lola Chesney
Physiotherapist
Lola is a Physiotherapist with a background in personal training and nutrition coaching.
Through working with clients in the gym, my focus developed into that around injury prevention and rehabilitation, leading me to take a Batchelor’s degree in Physiotherapy.
With a history in strength & conditioning and Olympic lifting, I can help you to move better and with less pain, while improving your form in the gym and in every day life.
In clinic, I’ll use manual techniques and guided rehab programmes to aid tissue repair, and build up strength and mobility, respectively. I also use electrotherapies, including Shockwave and Ultrasound to aid tissue healing and speed up your recovery process.
I go above and beyond for my patients and can offer nutritional and training advice where appropriate, as well as offering more structured coaching alongside, or separate to, your physiotherapy journey.
Zbynek Zatlouka
Level 3 Massage Therapist & Biomechanics Coach
I am a qualified Personal Trainer, Sports/Deep Tissue Massage Therapist and Biomechanics Coach.
For 15 years I was a professional Chef. I catered for numerous sporting events where I cooked for professional athletes with differing nutrition needs. This experience helped me understand the key elements of nutrition in sports.
In 2015 I decided to change career and made the transition to the second love of my life – fitness. I started working in a gym and then qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist.
This has enabled me to use exercise and soft tissue therapy to help people with sports injuries. I have also helped people to prepare for specific sporting events and to build confidence in their exercise regime. I practice at Core Chiropractic specialising in Deep Tissue/Sports Massage, Rehab and Taping Techniques.

Evi Valkova
Physiotherapist & Massage Therapist
I am a Physiotherapist with a background in competitive sport and health & social care. With over a decade of massage therapy experience and First-Class Honours in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton, I support people in recovering from soft tissue injury, restoring movement, and building resilience.
My own journey through martial arts and competing at national-team level in synchronised swimming and outrigger canoeing has given me a sound understanding of body mechanics and the physical and mental demands of sport. I bring this insight to every client, whether you are an athlete or simply looking to move better in daily life.
In clinic, I take a holistic approach, combining manual techniques with clear, tailored exercise programmes to help you achieve your recovery goals. Where appropriate, I also integrate auricular and medical acupuncture, clinical reflexology, selected electrotherapies, and practical lifestyle strategies to support long-lasting, sustainable progress.
I love my work and I’m passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and return to feeling their best.
